• Now, join the wires to the terminals. The new thermostat may have a configuration with two, three, four or five wires. Connect the red wire into the red nut, and the white wire into the white nut, and so on.

• Now place two “A” batteries (double) into your new thermostat with correct polarity.

• Now fix your new programmable thermostat to the fixed mounting plate.

• Now use reset button to erase any present memory, switch on the power and make your new settings.
